30 Days of Letting Go Project, Day 10

So the not-so-secret thing about letting go of things when it comes to my kids. . .

hands-on-PM

In order to let go, I have some spend some time on the front end doing a little teaching,

  • To let go of laundry, I had to teach them to fold the clothes.

  • To let go of refereeing their fights, I had to coach them in how to handle arguments on their own.

To let go of anything, I need to be willing to invest time in the beginning. I’ve resisted doing that a lot of times because I’m lazy. So, although, “letting go”, may sound like a passive activity, it’s not! It’s very much an active thing.

(Thanks for giving me the day off yesterday so I could celebrate my husband’s birthday!)
