A Playlist For When You Need Courage

I’ve needed courage recently.

Over the last weeks, I’ve stood (and sometimes knelt) in my bedroom calling out to Jesus. I’ve prayed for His will, for miraculous intervention, for discernment, peace, and courage.

When I didn’t know else to say, I started to sing. I turned on my favorite worship music and let the songs do the praying.  Maybe you could use this playlist today.

*****

“Promise maker, promise keeper.

You finish what you begin.

Our provision through the desert.

You see it through to the end.”

“My hope is built on nothing less,

than Jesus’ blood and righteousness.

I dare not trust the sweetest frame, but wholly trust in Jesus’ name.”

“Lord I need you. Oh, I need you.”

“My one defense. My righteousness. Oh God, how I need you.”

“You have no rival, You have no equal.

Now and forever, Our God reigns.

Yours is the Kingdom, Yours is the glory.

Yours is the Name above all names.”

“Jesus, you are enough.

Jesus, you are enough for me.

With nothing; I still have everything.

Jesus, you are enough for me.”
