30 Days of Letting Go Project, Day 2

Letting go is so much fun, isn’t it? I bet you wondered how my children responded to the announcement of my retiring? Lucky you. I just happen to have captured it on video.

Also, I just need to put this out there. I’m sure there is a perfect way to fold clothes. If you are looking for a tutorial on folding, I am not your girl. Martha can help with that. I’m looking for it to end up mostly neat and not sticking out the dresser drawers. That’s my standard of excellence. And if you saw my video, you noticed that Nathan’s dresser is not meeting that super high standard! 🙂

Exhibit A of “drawers neatly closed”. Please note that we are not talking about the state of the top of the dresser. This also causes much angst in my life. I’m going to have to dedicate another day to that.

Exhibit A:

Drawers are closed. Baby steps. Deep breaths. We can do this. Letting go of control of something I don’t need to control.

See? I did NOT fold these clothes.

Someone else did!
